Abstract. This paper considers the software development for the basic seismometric monitoring of buildings and structures' technical condition. The authors use the client-server architecture for the registration program of the system. The server component provides interconnection with the equipment, data acquisition, storage and processing. The client component provides the user interface, hardware and software configuration, as well as, a presentation of the tasks and the system results in a user-friendly form. The seismic monitoring system operates in two modes: main – registration of seismic events with an assessment of their impact on the construction; additional – registration of microseismic oscillations according to the monitoring schedule specified by the operator. Moreover, the system performs continuous recording of the dam's oscillations. When the system registers a seismic event, or there are some system malfunctions, the server component notifies the responsible personnel, according to the approved list by e-mail and SMS. The client program provides the seismometric data visualization in the form of oscillation seismograms, current signal amplitude spectra and vibration level histograms for the selected components. The mnemonic diagram window contains all the important information: displaying the sensors current status and configuration, the seismograms of the corresponding measuring channels, and the latest events and messages in the system.

Keywords: seismometric monitoring of buildings and structures, software, seismic events registration, microseismic vibrations measuring, dynamic characteristics determination.
