Abstract. Based on the experimental data of seismic observations along the line Novogurovsky limestone quarry – the small-aperture seismic array Mikhnevo, estimates of the damping coefficients of the compressional and transverse waves in the upper part of the crust of the central region of the East European Platform have been obtained. Under the assumption of homogeneity of the dissipative properties of the Earth's crust, a map of isolines for the propagation of seismic energy from quarry blasts in the central part of the East European Platform is constructed, containing information on historical and contemporary earthquakes. The spatial distribution of the seismic effect of industrial blasts with elements of zones of tectonic disturbances is compared with the data of lineament analysis. The map is accompanied by an assessment of the intensity of blasting according to data for 2013–2017.
